Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 came into force as of January 1, 2013, to be valid in workplaces with fifty or more employees at the first stage. The law in question abandons the concept of "employee" in Turkish labor law, accepts the term "worker" and aims to include almost everyone. However, it seems extremely difficult for the current audit staff of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to keep such a wide application area under control.
Council Law and Consultancy Office was established in Istanbul in 2019 by Adem Aksu.
